How do I open the parent settings?
On the home screen, press and hold the lock for 3 seconds, then answer the times-table question. A quick tap does nothing, so little ones won't get in by accident. In the parent settings you'll find sound on/off, Unlock everything, Restore purchases, rate, share and Delete all pictures.
What's free, and what's in Unlock everything?
Little Crayons has 150 pictures: 5 themes (Animals, Vehicles, Dinosaurs, Ocean and Garden) in each of the 5 ages, with 6 pictures per theme. 50 pictures are free — 2 in every theme, in every age.
Unlock everything adds the other 100 pictures. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription, it includes future themes, and it works with Family Sharing.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID you bought it with, open the parent settings (hold the lock for 3 seconds, then answer the question) and tap Restore purchases. If you use Family Sharing, family members can restore it the same way with their own Apple ID.
My child can't colour the tiny parts
- Pinch to zoom in on the picture to make small parts bigger.
- A tap that just misses a part still colours the nearest part, so it doesn't have to be exact.
- Use undo to take back a step, or start the picture again.
How do I save or share a picture?
- Tap My pictures on the home screen.
- Press and hold the lock for 3 seconds.
- Answer the times-table question.
- Tap Save to add the picture to Photos, or Share to send it.
The first time you save, iOS asks for permission to add photos. Every picture is already saved automatically inside the app, with every version kept.
My child tapped Unlock everything with Ask to Buy
With Ask to Buy, the request goes to your family organiser to approve. Once it's approved, Little Crayons unlocks automatically — there's nothing else to do.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Pictures your child has already coloured stay in My pictures.
Does it need the internet?
No. Little Crayons works offline, so it's great for car trips and flights. You only need an internet connection to buy or restore Unlock everything.
Does it collect any data?
No. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and no personal information is collected. Your child's pictures stay on your device. Read the full Privacy Policy.
